Our world is constantly changing, and so is our society. Social practices are changing all the time. What men wouldn’t dream of doing 10 years ago is slowly becoming commonplace. The 21st century man is able to express his feelings and emotions, cook, decorate, and dress stylishly, all while maintaining his masculinity. So where does that leave you? If you are visiting this blog, you're probably looking for some tips on how to improve your lifestyle. This is your chance to get started.

Blogger Down

Please forgive my absence of late, not only from commenting on your blogs, but posting new entries on my own. I just underwent major sinus surgery with a side order of septoplasty, six procedures in all!

The procedures were done Monday and I only had to spend a day and a half in the hospital. I am pretty doped up right now, so I will leave this here, and then add more later. Please feel free to ask questions, but there may be some delay in response time over the next week or so. Cheers!

Take care of yourself. You might try the acupressure points located at the back of your neck, about halfway down, in the thick of the neck muscles on either side of the spine.

M I am begining to be able to move around a bit and when I can hold my head up, i like to write!

Venus, Viva Lance! I think it did go very well, I will know more next week when I have it irrigated and the stitches taken out.

Corinna, you are always so kind to me even if you like to blast a lot of idiot writers (as do i!)

transience, thank you but i have a tendancy to get "stir crazy" so i am already trying to come up with ideas of what i can do. pounce on me now please! thanks for the hugs, kiss back (on the cheeks).

Natsha2, Thanks, it will take about 3 weeks for a full recovery.

Pallavi, yeah it seems that way, but this one has been there for a long time, i just finally decided to have it corrected.

Mitzzee, you are so sweet, I just want to pick you up and give you a big kiss, (but avoid my nose, its bruised)!!

Boahban Sith, I am doing okay apart from some pain which seems to be lessening now. Of course there was a lot of bleeding the first two days, but that has more or less stopped. Now, there is a lot of swelling so I cant breathe through the nose yet, but it wont be long now!

Neel, I hope you recover quickly (and painlessly!) I just got back into town so I haven't been around lately. I heard that's a very painful procedure, eeps.

I hate pain. It hurts.

Mermaid,

I wrote to you and a few of the others more than once then when I went to post them "poof" they were all gone! Maybe this time I can see, touch, taste, and feel through my smell. I hope you and your little one are well.

My Dear Sarah,

Now how could I go without responding to you. Im having a rough day, lots of pain and lots of discharge. Its very hard to sleep also. Next week i get the stitches and splints out.

Mr. Niceguy, Thanks I tried that once already. Hopefully things will improve soon.

Natasha, you are very observant, but yes you can be a bit playful at times and I think some are more sensitive than others. Nope I didnt write that last post with anyone in particular. Thanks for your comments.

Allison, I kept reading that as "big wet hug" funny huh? Thanks you are very sweet.

Barbara, I am glad you are back too! how are things? I am going to write something just for you. Obiviously I am writing again even though I feel crappy. I have to lie down and take breaks at times, and there is a lot of pain.

Cedia, I would if I could! You are the one baby! Can you come give me that TLC, one of your massages sounds great!

Natasha, yes for pain and inflamation, also, cortisone, and antibiotics some others, no fun.

Scruuw, thanks they are pretty strong just make me sleepy. Hope you are well.

Nomadic, glad you like my posts. yes, we can start a worldwide bengali org. lets hope we keep in touch.

gulnaz, i am very fortunate. you see my father is a well respected and admired surgeon throughout the world, so he can pick from the best. The woman that did mine is excellent and within about three weeks i should be like a new person and in much better health. i will come and smell yours next time i am over there.

preetisher, you are very sweet, yes perhaps i was on the clouds and fell. i will be better soon.

Barbie, your kisses and hugs make me feel much better, thank you!

Jaxe, thanks so much. you are truely and gentleman.... and a scholar! Pain does suck, but now i dont mind the morphine as much since i have had it IV.

Lila, thanks! Ill pop round...

Sarah, my dear! How could I ever forget about you. The shitty site wasnt allowing me to post. Big kiss for you!

Natasha, my pleasure!

Moo moo girl, I love lots of cheeses. There is a famous quote by Charles De Gaulle during WWII, "How can you govern a country which has 246 varieties of cheese?"

Well, i like all French cheeses, then throw in English cheeses which have even more varieties than French, now the rest of the world, you do the math.

Pecos Blue, Thanks!!!

Cedia, give me an inch, I might take a mile.

Stella, Are you sure you have room for me in NY?

Natasha, I am trying to work out some way of being able to give each person that wants to track their progress a page, but I may need to move the site over to my own server to do this.

For now, just go to the page and watch for updates, also you can get the information you need.

Lorena, you are so SWEET! thank you, every time I see your smile there, it makes me smile too! i am quickly recovering, i get the splints out on Tuesday which will be nice, they are kind of uncomfortable.

Hey, how do you keep your posts from sounding post-surgery 'nasally'? :-) Heh, I hope you have a better week and stay patient! (or blog on morphine if you get bored, we won't tell! Oh, or better yet, write some lyrics that way, maybe they'll come out like Alice In Chains!)

Preetishere, I get the splints, and some stitches out tomorrow, yay! Still having pain and feeling a bit sore from having my nose violated! Thanks for asking, youre sweet.

Mitz, what can I say, You hold a special place in my heart. My cute nose is BIG now. I have never had a big nose, but its pretty swollen, I guess you can imagine with all the manipulation they have to do of it.

Thanks Venus, hard to stay away from you guys!

Jaxe, should we tell em about our project? I will write some lyrics tonight and maybe post some of my old ones. I wont tell Jerry or Sean what you said *wink*. I think i still sound pretty nasally

Sarah, I think you are SWEET and to use your term a GEM!

Natasha, thanks. Hey you dont have to go fighting battles for me. Everthing is cool.

Amie, when my uncle was a little boy (about two) he started calling the next door neighbor Ammie (her name was Annie). Anyway, Ammie stuck and my mother who is 7 years older started calling her Ammie, so did the rest of the family. So when we always knew her as Ammie.

Preeti, I should just call you "Pretty"!

Steph, not to worry, sorry about all the controversy. Thanks for the kind words.

Sara, I love your romantic mind. Yes, I shall speak of my flamboyant swashbuckling adventures with Red Beard. Argg Matey!

Moo, youre the funny one, and "udderly" cute to boot!
