Blogs Give Businesses A Boost

As we all continue to ponder why we blog, it seems many business are blasting off into the stratosphere, or perphaps the blogosphere, on thier journey to the top. I recently read an article in Business 2.0 which was actually about company startups in the ever evolving and highly technological world in which we live.

It has been noted that many large corporations are starting to pay more and more attention to bloggers, giving them a great deal of power and voice. Amongst the plethora of blogs in what some refer to as the "blogosphere", consumers have been enabled to obtain critical information about new products or services as they hit the market. They can now easily make educated decisions about buying these products or services, and even review and make recommendations for other similarly interested consumers. Some of the countries newest startups have blogs to thank for their success.

Hi Natasha, sorry no offense, but I just wrote it because it was time for a new post. But your encouragement is always welcome!

Jenn, yep madness! how is life in the world or rock 'n roll?

Pallavi, I have noticed talk of blogs everywhere here, in popular tv shows on the local news, CNN, and in the papers/magazines. Blogs are here to stay.

Mitzzee, I dont think it really has anything to do with spam. Spammers are a different breed.

Hi Amie, similar forums started quite a few years ago called bulletin boards, where one person could ask a question or post a comment and get answers from multiple visitors.

DeeM, let me know if I can help you with anything else. *wink*

Mermaid, you know, I get consumer reports from time to time. Most recently, when my dad was in the market for a new car. I am not terribly impressed with that publication and think you can get better adn more information if you know how to use the web.

I just use my husband, who accesses every website known to man. If he had his choice, I'd only by things after he has at least a month to research everything.

Hope things are going well, West Side. I'm out of here for the weekend, but I'll check in w/you on Sunday!

I really think you should post some of your more 'creative' writings, when your under the stealthy influence of your pain killers... those are awesome! A little more revealing than your Business 2.0 topics... c'mon man, feed the inner gypsy!

Mermaid, by any chance is your husband an engineer? but of course, it never hurts to be too cautious.

Mitzzee, yes, they are that is why they are omnipresent.

Eyes, agreed. similar things have happened with email and the internet.

Exile, something like that.

Gus, I am sending an email to your boss right now! Hide!

Jaxe, oh jaxe, what can I say to you? I know, I know you keep telling me that I seem way to serious on here. Have you read my comments, that is where my smart ass side usually comes out. Okay, I will see what I can do about posting something more entertaining. I certainly see a difference in the enthusiasm of the posts! Have a great weekend!

I can also imagine companies focusing to pursue bloggers, "elites" of the world. Just as people discuss things out with their frineds, they discuss things on their blog, and the infuence of their opinions, views would depend on how close a person feels to others. blogosphere is a place where companies can reach out to a much larger group of people at once.
