Our world is constantly changing, and so is our society. Social practices are changing all the time. What men wouldn’t dream of doing 10 years ago is slowly becoming commonplace. The 21st century man is able to express his feelings and emotions, cook, decorate, and dress stylishly, all while maintaining his masculinity. So where does that leave you? If you are visiting this blog, you're probably looking for some tips on how to improve your lifestyle. This is your chance to get started.

Blogged Out

Please forgive my absence of late. I have been informed by some of my readers that my material is getting staid and that I am, “a slacker”. Although that is a true comment, I have also been a bit busy, and a bit blogged out.

I know from reading other blogs that many of you get blogger burn out at times, and I hope you will continue to come back to this page after I the blog fog has been lifted. My buddy Jaxe pointed out that I am too serious at times with some of my posts, which is probably a fairly accurate statement.

I’ll tell you what. Why don’t you (my beloved readers) tell me what I should write about? The person with the most clever and original subject or idea will win this contest of sorts, and I shall attempt to immortalize my muse in words

How about something dear to you? I think you know me somewhat by now to know I won't give you a subject. Though your informational posts are always a pleasure to read, I particularly loved your songs.

Preeti, Sorry once again for taking so long. Thanks for your suggestion, I like it!

Mermaid, Yes, that is another great idea. I have been having difficulty getting some of my recording equipment to work, so I have not yet posted a song, but that will happen in the near future. I am planning to go into a recording studio next week.

Hey NEEL! Arg. I'm so burned out myself. Plus, I was just giving you crap about being so serious on the blog (since your pretty crazy outside the digi-sphere ;-) heh. Anyway, post some of those wild lyrics you come up with - those are intense. Or if not, just make something up that you have absolutely no idea about... a hoax is often cool (email me and I'll photoshop some fake pics for your story!) Muwahahahaaa.

*cheers*

I agree with Jaxe, post some song lyrics. Or, possibly, a piece on drunken dialing?

Sometimes we get busy, some times we have other priorities, and we still want to be in touch with our friends. and in blogsphere, we feel pressure that we have to post something to reach out to our friends, and that's the limitation here. creativity does not come out of busy-ness or routine or restlessness, it rather needs emptiness of mind. If I were to get at this point, I would post some pictures I like (not necessarily be my photographic skills) or some article I like, as someone has suggested.

btw, good luck for your recording!

Great ideas everyone. I will be back in about a week to respond to everyone, but I'm out of town trying to get into trouble.

Serious is necessarily a bad thing. I'm all over the place with my blog.

It's YOUR blog, you talk about what you want. And yes, I'm sure the marjority of us in the blogsphere have god blog burnout. I know I have on several occassions. One being now, but I'm still commenting my little heart out.

I slack, you slack, therefore we are slackers. I just like calling people on it. =D

Blog about your adventures while you're out of town. And how it goes with getting in trouble!

well since this is neel's tips and tidbits how about a fun thing like "how not to get burned out blogging"? or "things you should give up for blogging" or any fun hearted topics. sometimes writing mundane things in stead of your usual topics can do the trick

i like this blog for the comments it gets. you can keep on posting anything(ok thats what i do....but hey thats me)

For some blogging is like a megaphone. They tell what they feel strongly about and start get people talking about it.

For me it is like a online diary...sort of...i post what i do or read or listen to....

Lorena, I completely understand... obviously. Actually this break has done me some good, my mind feels fresh.

Great idea about the fondest memory.

Mermaid, YOU SHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRREEEEEE?

Transience, I've missed you, you were gone for a while, then me, now hopefully we are both back. I like your idea!

Jaxe, you should know by now I have a very dry sense of humour. I was kidding in that post.

By the way, dont send the pics, I dont want anyone to know about you and I..... shhhhh....

AP Youre always so sweet and an inspiration. I will get back on board later today.

DeeM, Drunken Dialing... Moi? No that couldnt have been me, but perhaps one of my other personalities. I know you are very bright and creative, you can come up with your own ideas without having to lean on Jaxe.

Gulnaz, I know it is, I didnt feel bad about it, I just needed a break and now I feel much better. Great idea about childhood!
Venus, You always put things into words in a way that is descriptive and very soothing. Great ideas, I will be thinking about them.

Gus, yes you do. You are very sweet. So what's up with the name change again, no more Corinna?

Jenn, I was being totally sarcastic. I have a very dry sense of humor. I like to slack at times, its fun!

Great idea about out of town adventures. I may have to write something about that. I'm leaving for Vegas in a few days, maybe what happens in Vegas wont stay in Vegas it will be mentioned on this blog!

Amie brilliant ideas. Thanks for the encouragement, but I dont feel bad about it, in fact I feel much better. I needed a bit of time to sort out some things in my life.

Yogesh, agreed, you should read my earlier posts on blogging, they cover exactly what you are talking about.

http://neelsen.blogspot.com/2005/05/why-do-we-blog-part-one.html

Natasha, I might just do that.

Mitzzee, let's see that fine ass. I love your idea, you might just win after all.

DeeM, You know me well. I kid and people have a tendancy to think I am being serious because I am so dry. I will post something soon, I PROMISE!

Gulnaz, yes it is, I am in full agreement. I may just do that. The thing is, there are so many good ideas on here, I can write about many of the suggestions, including yours!

Tasha, another wild night? You are sweet, thank you. Getting lucky though? Come on. You make me blush, cheers!

Mitz, I thought you did! Back now.

Cedia, that is also a good idea. Thanks, I missed you too!

Jaxe, Sorry man, I emailed you and you didnt write back, maybe we broke up and you didnt tell me. Im hetro too, but Deem dumped me too, so cyber single again.

Mermaid, fan club, me? Nah. Not blue at all, just the definition of my name. I am actually feeling quite pink. I have to fill you in, I have been getting acupuncture, and it seems to be helping.

Pallavi, I will be there to check you out.

Preeti, A bang? I'm certainly back but I havent banged anyone for a while. Hope you are well.
